OnLive! Technologies, the leader in IP-based group audio conferencing system, recently announced that ILINC, the global leader and creator of the LearnLinc family of instructor-led online learning solutions, has licensed the OnLive! Audio Conferencing Server 2.0 for integration into its second generation corporate training application, which was also unveiled recently.

OnLive!, the first company to introduce large group voice communication to the Internet, licenses audio conferencing server technology to solution providers to enable live group interaction over the Internet or corporate intranets.

ILINC (Interactive Learning International Corporation) is the first company to deliver a family of online learning solutions, used by companies for cost-effective corporate training. The company announced today the availability of its LearnLinc I-Net 2.0 product which utilizes OnLive!'s standards-based audio technology to enable instructor controlled voice communication over the Internet.

LearnLinc I-Net 2.0 allows students to participate in large online classes and share and edit applications over the Internet. Now, with the integration of OnLive!'s audio technology, students can interact with each other and the instructor over a PC in their own voices, eliminating the expense of a supplemental telephone call.

OnLive! Audio Conferencing Server 2.0

OnLive! Audio Conferencing Server 2.0 (ACS 2.0), which was licensed by ILINC, is standards-based server software that provides moderated large group conferencing for up to 225 simultaneous users over IP networks. OnLive!'s ACS 2.0 product includes a software developers kit that allows vertical solution providers to integrate audio conferencing into their customized applications.

This second generation technology enables fully-moderated, live voice conferences and works even over 28.8 modem connections. ACS 2.0 also utilizes the industry standard H.323 audio codec (G.723), which provides audio quality equal to that of a regular telephone. This codec technology provides the highest quality audio while using the least bandwidth of any standard codec available today.
